Wedding Bookings

We are located a short drive west of Ottawa between Carleton Place and Perth just minutes from Hwy #7. Our restaurant is an authentic two hundred seat timber frame building constructed by local craftsmen. The surrounding forest and gardens make it a lovely setting for a country wedding through all four seasons. We have a friendly and experienced staff who welcome the opportunity to make your wedding day a wonderful and memorable occasion.

Temple's would be happy to host your event with half price facility rental fee or reduced minimum guest counts for evening weddings for dates still available in the next five months.

Nestled in the quiet countryside Temple's Sugar Bush offers a casual elegance to compliment your magical day. Our experienced special events team will ensure every detail is attended to, providing you with a wonderfully memorable wedding day.

Booking your Special Event

• Temple's Sugar Bush requires a $2000.00 deposit to secure the facility.
• Nine months prior to the event, 50% of the event invoice estimate is due. The initial $2000.00 deposit will be credited towards this invoice estimate.
• A final payment, equal to the estimated balance, is due 14 days prior to the event.

Facility Rental Fee:

Temple's Sugar Bush may be secured exclusively for your special event for the following fees:
August, September and October Saturday Bookings - $1950.00
June and July Saturday Bookings - $1750.00
Sunday through Friday Bookings – $1450.00 (with 80 guests or more)
Canada Day & New Year's Eve - $1950.00 (minimum 100 guests)

We are pleased to offer facility rental fee discounts or reduced minimums for bookings from November through May.

Damage Deposit

A damage deposit of $500.00 is reqired. This deposit will be refunded by cheque to you one week after your event. Any damage will be deducted from this deposit.

Wedding Ceremonies

Wedding ceremonies before your reception can be hosted at Temple’s. Our Spectacular Timber frame restaurant and stone fireplace provide a stunning background for your indoor ceremony. A beautifully landscaped outdoor area is available for the couple who wish to be married in a forest setting. Our wedding coordinator will work closely with you to determine your specific needs.

Guest Count

A minimum adult guest count of 110 adult guests must be guaranteed for all Saturday event bookings. We offer reduced guest counts for all events hosted Sunday through Friday.
Canada Day & New Year's Eve (minimum 100 guests)
We are pleased to offer reduced minimums or facility rental fee discounts or for bookings from November through February.

Estimate Revisions

Prices are subject to change. Final payment, guest count, menu and seating plan, must be confirmed 14 days prior to your event. Any revisions will be subject to a fee.

Bar Service

The minimum total beverage bill must be $500.00 plus tax. This minimum total beverage bill does not include beverages ordered for consumption during dinner service (i.e. wine service during dinner). Prepay bar, open bar, cash bar or subsidized bar arrangements can be made; we would be happy to organize the type of service that suits you best. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the premises unless purchased from the licensee holder. Service of alcoholic beverages is permitted until 12:30 p.m. We provide an attendant from the time of guest arrival until guests depart. This attendant ensures that guests adhere to Temple's House Rules.

Children’s Meals

We are pleased to offer children ages 5 – 10 years a meal at half the price of an
adult meal.

Wedding Favours

Temple's offers several wedding favor options. Your coordinator would be
happy to discuss these with you.
Favors must be ordered one month before the date of your event.
